He throws his hammer down and sits under a tree, watching as the rest come to patch up the wounded...
He is so frustrated that his breath can't calm down at all..
My irritation at getting randomly attacked by a stone statue of some old hero, in the middle of the road, was already rather high.
At least, finally, we would get to see Muty fight from our side. All things considered, even if I can defeat him in a duel, he is still much more experienced and skilled than us, so this moving stone construct shouldn't be too hard to take down...
So when he did just a little jab and went on the defensive, my irritation spiked again. He was doing all the acrobatic multi attacks on us, and now he cares for his nails?!
The stone statue made two big swings with its sword, one at Muty, which I somewhat deflected for him, but still managed to get him on the arm. Serves you right for being a princess, shouldn't have helped you at all-
And the second hit, ignoring the more vulnerable ladies, went for me, probably some warrior respect from the hero figure it was supposed to represent.
Bah, taking me for a weakling, I blocked that hit easily, used the momentum to spin, and delivered a strike with my hammer right into his abdoment, rock shattering like glass and forcing it to reel.
'Fucking asshole-', I huffed, before turning to give the biggest, most judgemental squint to Muty.
Princess over there got the message well enough this time, hit the construct three times properly with his monky powers, and it broke down for good.
Who makes these things and leaves them here??
"Welp, good thing I'm not some hawty and prideful wizard that doesn't value others' lives in front of saving himself..."
"Okay, one project down...three more to go..." He stretches his hands, ready to get back to work.
Getting blown to near pieces by Vanya the other day certainly upped his motivation, put his life into perspective....
At least the spear is good, he can take pride in that...
The last few days have been quiet, all things considered...there is a lot to do in the near future, including a possible raid in a smuggling den of a rather powerful organization...
That brought back memories for the blacksmith, and not the most pleasant ones. He did not regret setting that drug den ablaze, as it turned out their fate was sealed already, not to mention the pile of dead bodies in that hole in their backroom is not going to ever leave his mind...
But he regretted how he had gone about it, how little control he had. She...had paid a price, a mental scar, for his actions. Would he be able to do things differently now? Would he even want to hesitate, knowing a second of inaction will lead to death and slavery for innocent people and creatures?
He could only find out when the time arrived...he needed to see if he had really changed, if he could handle such awful situations better....or not.
Such thoughts troubled his mind as he laid on the bed of the wagon, petting Woofers who was laying next to him. He had even opened his notebook to continue writing his little novel, but his mind was clearly not focused, too lost in the memories and thoughts of the future. Sigh, and the memories brought her visage back to his mind's eye...he missed her more every day.

// Session was amazing todaaayyy!!!
Aaahhhh
I think im gonna start narrating little tibids of the sessions from Igris'Ir's perspective cx
He is a quest giver and a supporting character, he isnt present in everything, but the blog is about him, and i think it would be neat to describe the moments of the campaign that he is involved in~
In last night’s session we didn’t get a lot done, but Akali and the two other members of her party who the campaign started off with (Uschii and Fernleaf) found themselves teleported to a pocket dimension with a beast who, if you play and win its “game,” will grant you a wish.
The game ended up being that they have to fight dark versions of themselves, and the session ended there :’))))))))
I have two thoughts so far on how Akali can win against her double but one of them is hella risky. Next session I have to figure out first whether their doubles can bleed and also if they can interact with each other.
