AHHHH Yeah good question, LOL. I do have a few in my 'google maps' tag you can scroll through. I know which which meta about books you're talking about, but they're not in this tag.

What I want to know most about this set... If they didn't add anything to the props in the park - where did the samovar come from?! Clearly a useful thing in the Arctic, but an unlikely one on a British ship, I would think! Now I headcanon that it's Blanky's, seems to fit ;)

Hi hun, I saw you post earlier that Sherlock had apparently made sure his furniture was child-proofed for Rosie at the end of TFP. Can you show me some examples because everything in the flat looks the same to me with the exception of John's chair?

So when the flat is apparently destroyed everything except their chairs and that rug and everything else, Sherlock replaces a lot of the “cornered” furniture with rounded furniture:

A. That’s not their original breakfast table and chairs. They’re now a rounded set with a little shelf under them.

B, C, and D. Same with the long table, the chair at the end of the couch, and the stack of magazines. The sitting room table is now a small rounded one, the chair now has fully padded arms, and the stack of magazines have been replaced with rounded dressers, which Sherlock probably now keeps his military porn stash the magazines:

(E) used to be a hard-edged metal table, and (F) used to be a shelf with a lot of breakables on it.

And (G) used to be a very wobbly-looking side table. It’s been replaced with the sturdy one we see in TFP:

Plus, I believe the bookshelves are also less-cluttered as well, and those glass cases we see in the above image no longer have breakables in them

Sherlock literally changed the common area of the flat so he could be a better parent for Rosie.

Look, I’m not a fan of parentlock in this arc, but good god this is EXACTLY how I imagined Sherlock as a parent. And if we’re going with the John’s TAB theory, this is exactly how John imagines Sherlock as a parent too.

It's such a shame how Se4 turned out because the music and acting was the best in the series. The actors and musicians made gold out of sh*t.

Agreed Nonny! They worked with what they had, and tried to salvage what they could. I thought it even looks really lovely. The problem is the plot, for me. It's all over the place. Everything else was pretty okay. But as you said, those two things are the best parts of the season; AND the cinematography and sets of the first two eps. I loved the deductions and the rotating room in TLD  and the visuals of T6T. I just really love the transitions and overlays in the ep.

Remember Moffattiss with the four dice, and the two bottles? And some thought it might be a clue? I noticed the two bottles in TSOT. They are in the center of the table when Sherlock is talking to David. Clue?

Ah! So there they are! I think we have been trying to figure out where they came from for awhile (a lot of us thought they were referencing the bottles in ASiP). Hmm. Well, I’m not looking too much into it (I may have gotten a bit too over excited over the dice, but hell I had a blast doing it), and honestly, I have nothing; my brain is saying “just two salt shakers on a table”. Bah, it’s too early, I can’t think, LOL.

Well, if nothing happens today, they were the ones who wasted money on a giant billboard for nothing.

To be fair though it was a prop, though it was an oddly placed prop that really served no importance whatsoever in the episode.

I don't know why but out of everything, the one thing about series 4 that fills me with the most rage is that f-ing skull painting. Why were there different versions of it? What was the point? Why was it never explained? That's not something you can do by accident! Ugh! I'm annoying myself just thinking about it.

Haha you and everyone else Nonny. I think that skull painting is one of the BIGGEST clues to the entire series being one big mind-trip / unreliable narrator theory. I personally believe that the skull is representative of Sherlock’s emotions / state of mind, or – if it’s all in John’s head – John’s emotional reaction to situations. Everything in S4 is a false narrative, that I am convinced of.

And then Arwel just sort of brushes it off? You KNOW that something’s fucky when ARWEL won’t talk about something like that as being anything other that “I liked it”. Like, Arwel, PLEASE. You are DYING to tell us and they just won’t let you.
