Today we’ve got a seven-petal and, surprisingly, a different three-petal! Maybe I was just worse at spotting anomalies before idk, it seems kind of crazy to see two so close together in time considering that I had never seen any for the past over-a-month ive been looking at forget-me-nots.

Some forget-me-nots from my neighbor’s garden, as it appears mine have unfortunately ceased to flower. I believe these are a different species than mine, as their leaves look somewhat different and the flowers have a deeper (and often more purpley) color. Luckily for my photography habit, they still seem very prone to anomalous flowers—particularly of the “more petals than usual” variety. And with this, my photo-posting is all caught up to the current day!
