Kaworu Nagisa: While I wasn’t incredibly different, the timelines in most of my canons were. Timeloops can get weird and they vary a lot, so this wasn’t always the case, but more often than not I appeared a lot sooner than I did in the actual show. I was usually sent into class 2-A by SEELE in & around the time of Ramiel’s death. As a result, I had a lot of time to get close to the other pilots and became good friends with all of them. Aside from that, a minor difference is that I’m a bit taller (I’m apparently 5’3” in the official media, though I was probably closer to 5’5” in my canons) and that elements of the Episode 24 drafts bled into my personality and background a bit more than they did in the final cut.
Haku (Spirited Away): Just one major difference! Instead of seeking out Yubaba to learn magic, she found me (a river at the time) polluted to the point that I was on the brink of death/fading away (or whatever the spirit equivalent is). My contract with her was to become her apprentice & errand runner in exchange for her aid in nursing me back to health.
