Regulus was sick of seeing the bruises around his eyes. It felt like they were taking longer than usual to heal, thankfully they weren't as pronounced as they had been for the past week, but he was still tired of looking at them. He could have easily used a concealing charm, but for whatever reason he couldn't bring himself to do it. Perhaps it was because the bruises were a reminder of his relationship with his brother - it was just as fucked up as his face was. But he didn't want to think about everything that happened with Sirius, their final conversation still weighing heavy on him. Right now, he just wanted to forget, drown his memories in alcohol, maybe find someone to help take his mind off things.
Contemplating on which bar to go to, he decided on the Hog's Head, hoping luck would be on his side and Sirius wouldn't be there. Pushing open the door, Regulus held his breath as he poked his head inside, glancing around. Thankfully, Sirius was nowhere to be found, and he spotted somebody he was actually happy to see. Casually strolling through the bar, Regulus slid into the booth across from Severus, giving him a wide grin. They hadn't seen each other since the festival, before he fought with Sirius, which meant he hadn't had a chance to see the nasty bruises on his face. But as Severus looked up to him, he realized that he was covered in wounds, too, almost exactly the same as his own but fresher. "What happened to your face?" He questioned, unable to stop his curiosity, any trace of a smile leaving his features. He probably should have greeted him with a hello, but Regulus wanted to know if his brother was responsible for what happened to his friend, too.
