finally took some photos of my latest guy, little coyote cutie! i'm really happy with how his face turned out, i was testing out a new way to do eyes that i think worked really well ^w^ i also tried out hand embroidering his paws! his front beans turned out pretty nice, but his back ones were harder to get to so they're a lil messy ToT but i still think he turned out really cute! i really love how his body shape turned out too, i think it's perfect for chibi furry designs ^^

A Draculaura shirt I made! ☽♡☾

Hello class!

Today for show and tell I brought a Draculaura shirt I made! Now that I showed it to you, let me tell you how I made it!

Step One: Pattern!

Pattern is created with G3 Draculaura in mind but sizing it down or up is really easy!

I have a very simple way of making shirts. It's not the best complicated shirts but perfect for a bit of a grunge, chill look!

I hope the pattern I created is understandable. I never made patterns before, but I tried my hardest!

Step Two: Sewing the Sleeves In!

Place the shirt inside out and keep the sleeve right side out.

Slip the sleeve into the armhole so right sides are together.

Sew the sleeve around. (I recommend putting something inside to help you keep the circle shape! I used a glue stick.)

Again, I tried my best with the diagram but I'm not a professional, I'm just an idiot ♡

If you want a less over-size look, I recommend sewing the sleeves at an angle. Than you can either cut of the leftover fabric or leave it if you're using a thin fabric. You can also sew the sleeves in this shape from the beginning! But that woud make sewing them in a bit harder.

Do what works best for you!

Step Three: Printing the Custom Design!

I designed this simple collage in photoshop, using images form pinterest and my great photo arranging abilities ~

Then I printed it on my mini thermal printer! Specially, this one:

I can really recommend it! It works really well and the refill paper is very cheap so you can pretty much print forever!

As for the size of the print, sadly, you have to just keep trying until it comes out perfect. Make it bigger/smaller, and see how it turns out. When you're happy with the size, cut it out (as usually, there will be paper on the sides) and it's time to stick it on!

Step Four: Sticking the Print On!

I used the UHU glue on the left! But form want I know all versions of UHU will work!

REMEMBER!

Don't use any glue with toluene, acetone, ethyl acetate!!! As it will cause chemical overheating!!! It will make you paper go black destroying the design!!! If you're not sure about your glues ingredients, do a little test strip! If your glue has those ingredients it will make the paper black almost immediately. If the paper isn't black after 2-3 minutes, the glue is safe to use!
