Just wanted to stop in and say hello! It's been such a whirlwind of a week! First of all, a big huge THANK YOU to those of you who purchased a pattern this week, or anyone who reposted, liked or commented on one of my images. It's all super helpful and I am so grateful to you all! 🖤 Second, how are you all doing? How has week 1 been for you? I have to say, although I am definitely a homebody and an introvert by nature, I do find it a bit difficult not going out at all! Today we ended up going to a secluded hiking area that's hard to get to (you have to climb over a stream to even get to the trail). Although I got splinters from placing my hand on a some kind of thorny plant while traversing the side of the hill, slipped around a lot and at times thought I was going to fall into some wet mud, it was exactly what I needed. No I didn't dress practically, not exactly (when do I ever?? I never do). But my excuse is I didn't really know where we were going. Anyway, it was great, despite the splinters. In celebration of the first day of autumn, @jrmcclurg and I decided to go for a hike near the Sandia mountains. It’s a beautiful day today and although it’s still pretty hot here in New Mexico, I could definitely smell fall in the air! 🍂I wore my new green canvas pants that I’m testing out, my @blundstone boots with @darntoughvermont wool socks and a cozy cotton sweater from @aerie which to be honest is actually still a bit too warm to wear.
