Happy Monday! This weekend I worked on making a project bag for work. I needed something that could carry 11x17 paper, a level, pencils, magnets, tape, and various other things. While I probably could have bought something it may not have had the same setup I wanted. I know it’s a bit wonky but it was an old blue bag, a quick sew, and I’m thinking this is just a first draft. Side note: If you’re wondering why I used a blue IKEA bag it’s because I work at IKEA. First sewing pattern of the year on the cutting table. I’m going to attempt to make the short version of this. For my first attempt at it I’ll be using this old IKEA fabric. That way if it works out ok then it’s cute and yay! But I’d it doesn’t work it’s not too much of a loss since I have a whole bolt of this fabric. Happy Christmas Eve. I finished my @mccallpatterncompany 8318 dress! It is the perfect travel dress pattern. It has large pockets for all my things and it was super comfortable to wear on the plan. I did have a ruffle for the bottom but I couldn’t get it added on in time so we’ll have to do that addition for next year.
