Valentine's Day...? No, I'll pass.

I decided to experiment and tried the Sketchbook program. (Before that I tried Krita, haha🥲)

I finally overcame my fear and will show you my boys. They are alternative versions of Dream and Nightmare (my AU). I've been drawing, writing the story and my characters for a long time, so maybe I'll show you more later...

The name of the AU is "Sleepy Forest". I hope I won't change it...

About Dalas:

Dalas (formerly Dream). After the apple incident, he got a lot of power and something else... he got a separate persona who started calling himself Alas. At first, it seemed like it was just a side effect of the apples, but the more time passed, the more it seemed like it was actually a separate personality, connected to Dream in such a way that they shared the same body.

Dream is more serious and goal-oriented, can be abrupt and direct when it comes to something serious. He tries to keep an eye on Alas and not give in to his childish whims.

Alas, in turn, is more childish and frivolous. He follows the call of his heart and trusts his intuition and feelings more, which can get him into trouble with Dream. Creative nature. He can be serious when the moment calls for it or when he wants to be. He loves to eat, although Dream strongly recommends not to overdo it.

At first, I created Dalas out of curiosity. It was Valentine's Day and I wondered what Dream would look like as a Cupid. From then on, I started thinking about things and thought it would be nice to create my own AU.

About Nightmare:

After the apple incident, Nightmare gained new powers that enabled him to defend the Tree of the Spectrum of Feelings and his brother.

Throughout his life, he has become more reclusive and tries to avoid people unless he has a reason to be in contact with them. Hates the human race and some monsters and wants them to move out of the AU. But since the brothers Dalas treat people and monsters well, Nightmare tries to act more normal around others so as not to upset his brothers, but can still show his dislike (brothers, because Dalas is literally two persons in one body - Dream and Alas. For convenience, these names are combined, but they can be called separately if something concerns a specific person).

Nightmare loves his brothers and tries to protect them and watch over them well. Often spends time in the Sleepy Forest, which is needed to protect the Tree of the Spectrum of Feelings. In short, Nightmare is very careful about everything he holds dear, because watching over the other Dreamtale AUs, he realized that any mistake could cost him dearly...

So far, I've written a short story about Dalas and Nightmare, but I have more information and different drawings, I just don't want to tell you everything so abruptly, because it would definitely be boring.

(From now on, when I post something about my AU, it will most likely be two posts - one in Ukrainian and one in English. This is because there may be mistakes in the English version. And also because I want to write in my native language sometimes..)

Dalas and Nightmare (hum)

I couldn't resist, so I'm showing you the old art with characters from my AU (Sleepy Forest). I wanted to post it and many other drawings after I start telling the story of this AU, but.. eh, enjoy

Нарешті я поборола свій страх і покажу вам моїх хлопців. Це альтернативні версії Дріма та Кошмара (мій АВ). Я вже давно малюю, прописую історію та характери своїх персонажів, тому, можливо, потім покажу більше..

Назва АВ «Сонний Ліс»(«Sleepy Forest»). Надіюсь, що не буду змінювати її..

Про Даласа:

Далас (колишній Дрім). Після яблучного інциденту у нього з'явилося багато сил і ще дещо... у нього з'явилася окрема особистість, котра почала називати себе Аласом. Спочатку здавалося, що це просто побічний ефект від яблук, але чим більше часу минало, тим більше здавалося, що це справді окрема особистість, пов'язана з Мрією таким чином, що вони мають одне спільне тіло.

Дрім більш серйозний і цілеспрямований, може бути різким і прямолінійним, коли мова йде про щось серйозне. Він намагається пильнувати за Аласом і не піддаватися його дитячим примхам.

Алас, у свою чергу, більш дитячий і легковажний. Він слідує за покликом серця і часто довіряє своїй інтуїції та почуттям, через що у нього можуть виникати проблеми з Дрімом. Творча натура. Він може бути серйозним, коли цього вимагає момент або коли йому хочеться. Дуже любить їсти, хоча Дрім наполегливо рекомендує не перестаратися.

Спочатку я створила Даласа з цікавості. Памятаю, це був День святого Валентина, і мені було цікаво, як би виглядав Дрім в образі Купідона. Відтоді я почала придумувати різні речі і подумала, що було б непогано створити власний АВ.

Про Кошмара:

Після яблучного інциденту Кошмар отримав нові сили, які надали йому можливість по справжньому захищати Дерево Спектру Почуттів і свого брата.

Протягом свого життя він став більш відлюдькуватим і намагається уникати людей, якщо у нього немає причини контактувати з ними. Ненавидить людську расу та деяких монстрів і хоче, щоб вони забралися геть з АВ. Але оскільки брати Далас добре ставляться до людей і монстрів, Кошмар намагається поводитися більш-менш нормально серед оточуючих, щоб не засмучувати братів, але все одно може показати свою неприязнь (братів, тому що Далас – це буквально дві персони в одному тілі – Дрім і Алас. Для зручності ці імена поєднані, але їх можна називати окремо, якщо щось стосується конкретної персони).

Кошмар любить своїх братів і намагається їх захищати та добре за ними пильнувати. Часто проводить час у Сонному лісі, який потрібен для захисту Дерева Спектру Почуттів. Одним словом, Кошмар дуже дбайливо ставиться до всього, що йому дороге, адже спостерігаючи час від часу за іншими АВ Дрімтейл, він зрозумів, що будь-яка помилка може коштувати йому великої ціни...

Поки що я написала коротку розповідь про Даласа і Кошмара, але у мене є більше інформації та різних малюнків, просто не хочу розповідати все одразу, тому що це точно буде нудно.

(Відтепер, коли я буду постити щось про свій АВ, то скоріше за все це будуть два пости — українською та англійською. Це тому, що в версії англійською можуть бути помилки. Ну а ще тому, що я хочу інколи писати своєю рідною мовою)

Datura and Kurt in their youth ★

OMG WE'RE SO BACK.

I was already thinking that I wouldn't be able to draw Kurt this year (YES, in his fourth year of existence he finally got a name) because I've been really lazy and lacking energy lately.

So, as is tradition, I've been drawing Kurt for three years in November, after Halloween, but for this, the fourth, I drew Datura too, since according to lore they were best friends.

I know that 99% don't even know who these two are, so, Datura on the left, Kurt on the right.

I could say a lot, but there's no point since no one gaf.
