First week of 🔥 LENT 🔥 ::::: Food for Thought :::::: ▫️ ▫️ When money becomes an issue, there are so many uncalled for hurt and relationships burnt. Is this necessary? ▫️ ▫️ Temptation is real; the result of our fallen nature. It can cause heavy emotional and psychological pain when we give into temptation. It causes an even deeper spiritual pain that is separation from God, our Father: What makes us act to hurt others; what prevents us from forgiving others; why are we afraid to love and be merciful? ▫️ ▫️ Our Lenten observances are only a beginning, a preparatory for and a reinforcement of our ongoing struggle to resist the temptations we face in our lives. ▫️ ▫️ For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and by craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. ▫️ ▫️ One of my yearly goals is to be faithful to God and serve my family constantly. These 2 are the support of my life.
