🎶Feelin’ brand new I got nothin’ to lose, get out my way 🎶 Murs – Yesterday & Today Lyrics.
I read your comment on the lucid dreaming post and I was wondering if you can tell me a little more of what you experienced? It sounds a lot like something that happened to me and I haven't found anyone with the same reaction.
Ah, of course :)
Well, It’s very hard to explain…it was just sort of like I was in a dream, but unlike most dreams where you are unaware that you are actually asleep and it all feels real, in this particular instance, I was aware and knew that I was dreaming and was aware of my surroundings.
Basically, I was just bombarded with very loud noises like screams and there was a bloody person standing in the corner of my room. I however forced myself awake and it was all gone.
To me, it felt like I was just on the edge of falling asleep, like the dream was bleeding into reality. I was being “sucked", for a lack of a better term, into sleep but I wasn’t quite there yet.
I don’t know if this is sleep paralysis, I suspect it is just perhaps me being half asleep and “hallucinating" due to almost being asleep, but it is still terrifying nonetheless.
I hope this was able to help you :)
