what do you think Raj storyline may be when (if?) he comes back?
Well, Raj has never gotten a storyline (and he never will, just as Underhill/Rebeca/Russel and all the recurring supporting characters won’t get storylines).
But if he comes back, Raj will be there to represent the casually racist, law-abiding Shadowhunter. Which is an important role, by the way. The show needs characters like Raj to portray how Shadowhunter society functions and thinks outside of the higher rankings of the Clave.
If only the villains are shown to hate or not care about the Downworlders, the world building cracks. We need characters like Raj and Lindsay, who represent the everyday men/women and reflect how the Alec, Jace, and Izzy could’ve been if they didn’t change their ways.
