hey ☆彡 hows kyoto been treating you? (^ｰ^) our groups had a few seminars together for orientation but theres so many of you in SKP that i couldnt find you
ahhh it's been amazing so far! I know some people have been a bit homesick though :/ I'm sure I've spent too much money already, but it's worth it haha :') There's so many more exchange students than I thought there would be, I don't even think I've met everyone in my dorm haha! How are you finding it?
For the guarantor put the Dean of the school. If you Need his full info let me know. ID # in the US is our state ID or drivers license, but for the UK i think it's the National Insurance #,maybe? It's great that you finally got the COE! :) Things are getting real now haha. I did a rough packing test but I'm doing the final one late next week probably. How much luggage/suitcases are you bringing with you? I've now got just over 10 days left...when do you arrive exactly?
Thanks for the help! I managed to get my visa application in yesterday, I'm cutting it so fine since I leave on Friday! I get there about midday on Saturday the 8th. I'm taking 1 suitcase and hand luggage, my limits 23Kg and I know exchange students that came to england that managed to survive on one suitcase, but I'm probably going to get my parents to send winter stuff like coats and jumpers?
Contact from them is just so troublesome. Those of us in GS still have to submit our final Enrollment documents and it's been so stressful without them emailing us for help. You still haven't got your COE yet? =/ It seems a lot of people are still stuck on that part...I got extremely lucky I guess and had mine sent out Aug 1, so I've already got my Visa now. I've attempted to pack 2 times already and it's been so tedious. I've still got 18 days to figure it out I guess....
The whole thing is so stressful :( I finally got my COE though, it seems our uni didn't get them until the 28th which is helpful hahaDid you just put the uni down as the guarantor? You attempted packing already! I really need to make a list or something I know i'm gonna forget everything... only 9 days left for me ahaha
Haha don't be!! I spoke with quite a few people who were in SKP this past year are they still had no idea what GS was, even after being at Rits for a year or so =0=;; It makes the program feel like an exclusive club or something lol. Unfortunately--or fortunately--we don't have the same options. We aren't even allowed to consider the I-house dorms and we are only offered 3-4 different apartments outside of the 2 that you are. We can find other apartments ourselves but its a lot of work.
haha that makes me feel better :> hmm they seem to like keeping everyone separate! I know what you mean about finding your own accommodation thoug, my friends going to france and spain have no choice but to sort it out themselves and it seems crazy stressful!
Hi there! =) I'm going to Ritsumeikan this Fall as well, though as a GS student rather than SKP.
haha I feel ashamed I had to google what GS was! That sounds cool, do you guys still get the same accommodation as us?
