Absolutely butchered @echoes-lighthouse's selfship template to force my polyship onto it, and then also redrew my Soulsona and Kris reference to go with it because obviously a big part of The Soul is it's connection to Kris and it felt weird leaving them out of the chart.

Jevil's part is the most straight forward and that's because he himself is very straightforward. His object is a deck of cards, his location is a Funhouse, his food is Dark Candy, he's a Thunderstorm and Wildflowers and that plastic Nostalgia Purple old Nintendo consoles had. He gets the Ocean from the general Darkness is like Water theming Deltarune has going on, and he's a Bull Shark because that's what my furry friend Zayne said his Fursona would be and I trust him wholeheartedly.
Really the most out of left field for Jevil is his song. I really wanted the whole Polycule to share Tally Hall's Good and Evil Album, and I'd say Jevil as Out in the Twilight is good, it's just not Perfect. He's probably more Lemon Demon's "Amnesia was her Name", but Out in the Twilight has a more Dream and Upbeat energy to it, so it's still good.
The Soul's part took me a while and is also the only one without a central color, that mostly comes from it's plant being Cordyceps and me not wanting to put a decaying image of an ant or wasp on my screen for too long so. We get the fruiting stage instead.
Everything else feels Alright, it's color is Red, it's biome is your average suburban woods at night, it's weather is heavy rain, it's object is the bird cage in Kris' room and it steals the apple aesthetic from Kris as well
My favorite part of the Soul's side though is it's Daemon. While I don't really know what a Daemon is, I was thinking about the Bluebird of Happiness, specifically "The Blue Bird" by Maurice Maeterlinck, a story in which a pair of siblings go on a magic journey to find the Bluebird of Happiness. They fail, and eventually return home, only to find the bird's been in a cage in their house the whole time! It's a fun metaphor for Happiness being closer than you think, but what I really like about the story and why it connects to the Soul is the ending; When the siblings go to feed the bird, it escapes and flies out the window and into the woods. Once True Happiness is within reach, it's already gone.
I think it matches really well with it's song, You - I love you. Everything I do is for you. My entire world is you. I'll do anything to stay with you. I know I'm not supposed to be here. I know I'm making everything worse by being. I love you. The You here could be Kris, it could be the Shadowcule, it could be any number of NPCs, Lightners or Darkners, it could be Gaster, it could be the world of Deltarune itself. It doesn't really matter.
Spamton's part is my absolute favorite, I'm so happy with everything in his squares. His Biome's a big open field where there's no hiding, his objects the rotary phone that's voice commanded his life, his building is sky scrapers so imposing they make you feel like you'll be squashed under them, his color is sky blue his weather is a partially cloudy day his plant is Kudzu; Invasive, imposing, and suffocating.
His song & is the entire reason I wanted the entire polycule to have a Good and Evil song, it is THE Spamton song to me. The marching rhythm, the simple statement of the lyrics, the repetitive "ands", the rapid desperate ending with a HARD cutoff, the way it's motif continues into A Lady which is SO Spamton about Noelle on the Weird Route to me, the staring lyrics "He never said it would meet Demand. Shame on a Martyr claiming friends from either perspective of &" AUGH. It's so perfect. THE Spamton song ever.
His Daemon is another suggestion from Friend of the show furry expert Zayne. I used a drawing because again I didn't want to put a picture of Dead Animals on my silly selfship board but yeah. Rat King is VERY fitting for Spamton. Community and Attachment was his downfall.
Ramb is such a not-character a lot of this is Me Bullshitting okay we get so little of him just. I'm working with what I've got. The suburbs can be a biome if I say so okay, his object is a very non-descript gaming controller, his location is Kris' Room, his color is a sort of burnt orange, his weather is a sunset right after rain when the clouds are thing and the entire world turns a soft orange
The weakest parts of this are his Daemon and his plant, Zayne hasn't played Chapter 3 yet so he couldn't help me with this one. I ended up assigning him a Border Collie because it's a British breed of Herding Dog, and his plant is Lichen simply because Kris's plant would be Moss so they're running parallel.
His drink being Tea is so Me Specific I have a lot of Ramb's past headcanons and one of them is that he was the one who invented the You-Flavored Teas the Pink Addison in chapter 2 sells. I have no backing for this other than Vibes and the fact that the teas are Low Quality and that makes me instantly think they're a knock off of the original, and I just want to give Ramb things <3
His song took me the longest out of everyone I kept looping the Album trying to find the most Ramb song so you think with how long it'd take me his would be the biggest stretch but like. No actually Hymn for a Scarecrow is SO Ramb coded it makes me ill. "Nobody knows you and neither do I" "You wear a grin and keep perfectly still" "Shame how nobody knows you, only who wonders if you are to blame" "Lone in the wind like a pin butterfly. Monarch of ever forgiving, some of us wonder if you wanna die. Would you wanna die?" I'm like actually physically sick thinking about these lyrics in relation to Ramb and his Nothingness of a role he plays in Chapter 3 despite how much emotional weight he carries just by Existing there. He does nothing he does everything he means nothing to know one he's everything to me I'm going to Throw Up.
Anyway. I hope at least some of that was interesting to somebody. Feel free to ask any follow up questions about any of this. I didn't really talk about the first meeting sketches or the much more complicated relation to Kris.
