This is Olli again, my Original Character  You might have seen him before in two other pictures in my gallery but this is how he actually looks like when he's on the field, doing his missions. That's his uniform, with the mask on, and with the long overcoat and boots of his Order of the Vault. He works at the largest and most prominent Vault in his world, a great and venerable workplace.............. if his people are not Shadow Elves. For his family, he is considered a bit of a .... an embarrassment. The Vault is basically a library and a museum and his parents usually think about him as a librarian XD Shadow Elves in my story are people that maximizes their abilities to shadow-mancer. They can form and manipulate darkness around them. Olli himself comes from a (once) respectable bloodline that has boasted legendary mercenary lord and one of the best infiltrators known in history. When his grandfather perished in his line of work, Olli inherited Argathrax, the Shadow Spider. Argathrax shifts in and out of the Shadow Realms at will (and at command of his master), and his size can vary when he takes form. The smallest Argathrax can manifest in is at the size of a large dog, and the biggest is yet unknown. These are the two of them, walking through a desert, during one of Olli's librarian missions to verify an artefact : )

Here is my repainted elf! A @darkswordminiatures Forest Elf Goddess painted to be my #darkelf OC, probably my favorite of all my characters, which is why I have painted her so much 😂 one day I need to get off my lazy butt and write her story and about her culture watch I worked way too hard developing. Anyway, I gave her a new stick (which matches another miniature I have of her) and sculpted the drape which I painted to look like my favorite iridescent sari using layering of regular paints and blended acrylic medium and mica pigments. Today, I wanna introduce you all to my OC, Olli  He's a shadow elf, and he has a giant spider as his familiar, whose name is Argathrax

Argathrax is a Shadow entity and can slip in and out of the shadow realms at will : )

Olli inherits Argathrax from his ancestors, and he's the last in his bloodline so he feels a lot of pressure to 'measure up' but he's also a bit timid in general and will do almost anything to avoid dangerous things in life. Instead of his parents' fervent wish for him to pursue the professions respectable in the Shadow Elves' standards (such as assassins, or mercenary, or even smugglers), Olli is a law-abiding citizen who works as a Verificator Officer at the Grand Museum.

He loves his job! XD

A Verificator mostly spends time analyzing texts and artefacts, making sure the museum's acquisitions are legit articles and not forgeries : )

I'll show more of Olli in the future, but for now, here is a portrait of them together, my bookish Shadow Elf and his Giant Spider~
