Summary: In one universe, Yoghurt Milk Cookie used to be the Fount of Knowledge. Even after much conflict and tragedy, the Light of his Virtue remains, though they're no longer worthy of that title. They've chosen to be a simple scholar as he attempts to rebuild himself from the rubble of past mistakes. It's not an easy path to take, but he'll walk it in their own pace. In another universe, Cosmic Milk Cookie is the Fount of Knowledge, and his Light is fading. Old connections are becoming strained and distant. Her duties left no time to rest as piles and piles of paperwork filled her office. Nothing feels right anymore, if it ever did. What happens if their worlds collide? Or: Two variants of Shadow Milk Cookie cross paths. It's a whole rollercoaster of emotions for both parties.

'Hello.'

Oh. Oh, sign language! They're signing to him!

Most of their bunnies haven't learned sign language as they simply use quick gestures or writing. At least he can speak to freely to this one instead of asking yes or no questions.

'What is your name?' It asks.

... What?

Yoghurt Milk stared at the bunny, blinking twice. A bunny inside the Spire that doesn't recognize him? Was that why the other one hopped away? Why were these two even in the Spire? This isn't helping the fact that everything has been off since he got knocked off his feet.

Seeing as the rabbit was waiting for his answer—seriously, how did it not know him? What is this?—he clears his throat, standing stiff. "Yes, my.. my name! I'm Yoghurt Milk Cookie."

Could a complex spell warp the Spire itself? The Spire was a unique landmark within the region, as the magic it harbors was not only a part of it, but also held its own unique abilities. One notable aspect comes from the ability to warp time. If the magic that the Scholar used accidentally popped the time bubble it has, it could potentially cause some form of time—or even reality—shift. Which is a terrifying prospect, even if he's clueless on what that would look like.

At least that's their half-baked theory, as it somewhat explains why the bunny doesn't recognize him. Instead, it merely nods at his answer before he watches it sign to once more.

‘Are you here to see the Master?'

.. Never mind, scratch that theory. Everything has made less sense.
