Hi so sorry for pestering you again but how do you do art studies
This does not bother me at all, I love talking about it! No worries ^^
Here are some concept art gems of oddly specific gems I've tried figuring out. I usually start tracing the general shape. "Boooo tracing bad" you may say. Ok whatever, move the tracing layer to the side and now that you have a more clean image of it, draw it again to make a new form. I feel like the sketches can show that better.
When I talked about art studies I meant for SU designs in general. I feel like something really important that people miss are proportions. The ""general rules"" I follow are: Bigger gem= smaller head / Smaller gem= bigger head
A neat way to do art studies to figure out proportions are references sheets (wich I should actually do more often lmao) Or character analisis! (Ignore that this is outdated haha)
Not SU but screw it, good example. A way I tend to figure out a character is by just, sketching the character and finding what I'm comfortable with. Art study is just a general word I should not have said that xsbkqxsjgkxqsklgl

"My favorite memory is Rebecca would be when she cooked one of my favorite meals during dinner for the first time. When I first told her what my favorite dinner dish is, she wasn’t sure if she’d cooked it right but I did believe she pulled it off. When she sat the plate down in front of me, she told me she doesn’t think it’ll be as good as mine. Once I took a bite of it, it was so delicious! I told her it tastes just like mine. My bunny got very happy and I told her that she did great, along with a loving hug.

"Yes, I want to visit Glacier National Park. We would be hiking and take photos."

"Rebecca and I met when I saved her from the villain. After I beat the villain, I went up to her, asking her if she was okay. She almost couldn’t speak ‘cause of how strong & badass I am. About a week after I saved her, she saw me again walking in the street. She walked up to me & thank me for saving her. I said it’s no problem, I’m just hopping around & kicking the bad guys’ butts! She smiled at me, admiring her of how strong I am. She blushed when I said that. I noticed she was blushing and asked her what she was blushing about. She told me ever since I saved her, she started to have feelings for me. It caught me off guard when she said that, I said in a calm voice saying how very sweet of her, I called her little bunny and said she was cute when her face is red. She asked me if she want to have a coffee date with her and I said yes. After asking me out, she & I gave each other our phone numbers and started to call & text each other. Rebecca & I had our coffee date together and that was our first date. After the coffee date, she and I walked somewhere private, it’s just me & her. Rebecca and I looked into each others’ eyes, having arms around each other, we both lean in and had our first kissed."

Hihi! May I ask what 'selfshipping' and 'f/o' means? I'm pretty sure selfshiping is what it says on the box, and I'm pretty sure? F/o stands for fictional other but im not 10000% sure on that; sorry if this seems silly/mocking, I don't intend it to be!

you got it right! f/o stands for fictional other and selfshipping is you shipping yourself with a character from a fictional source!
you can also create a self insert or an oc for it (if you so desire!) ^^
you can selfship either: romantically, platonically, or have familial fictional others!
selfshipping is widely different with everyone. so dont worry if your selfship is different from someone elses! everyone has their own uniqueness to their selfships!

Started drawing SU around 2015. This is my oldest SAVED piece. It started solidifying around 2021-s. Patience, dedication and a study of the style (wich includes backgrounds). I did/do requests since my blog started (2019) as a way to do SU daily art for practice. All art is practice, even personal one!
