God is infinitely able to sustain the weak and feeble, And to meet the demands of the needy and poor. Though they wade in deep water, yet by fasting, prayer and watching He will safely, safely lead them to an unbroken shore.

Bruh. I got to meet Roger Creager and Shaker Hymns last night. I live in a place where there is always an opportunity to hear some live music, and it is amazing. I expect wonderful things from Shaker Hymns in the very near future. I got to cross off something from my bucket list too, which is always super fun.
As the dew of the morning, Or as bright rivers roll; So, so does God's blessing Flow into my soul. I'll walk in His presence As one greatly blessed; On whose soul the love of His work is impressed.
O breathren ain’t you happy? Ye followers of Lamb!
The angels of light are reaping the world, with a sickle of Love they will gather. Into the treasury of the heaven above, the ransom souls of the harvest!
Say brothers will you go with me, go to the land of promise? Say sisters will you meet me there, in the land of golden harvest?
Oh my pretty Mother's home, sweeter than the honey in the comb
Oh my pretty Mother's home, sweeter than the honey in the comb
Come love, pretty love, come love, come
Come love, pretty love, I want some
-- Patsy Williamson, a formerly enslaved Black woman and Shaker, 1791-1860
"Patsy lived 51 years as a Believer experiencing the strong bonds of sisterhood as she worked and worshiped at Pleasant Hill. Her faith was reflected in her songs that she composed with references to Mother Ann Lee, the joy she experienced in the dance and childlike simplicity and freedom she felt in worship." From the blog of Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill
In the morning I'm light, but in the evening I'm heavy now. Try as I might I just can't keep it steady now.
