I was tagged by @dreamofserenity626 and now I have to give three random facts about me. So:

1. I received the nickname “Jed” in my early teens. A buddy of mine had apparently been watching reruns of The Beverly Hillbillies because one day he said to me. “Hmmm… J.D. Clampett. Jed Clampett. I’m going to call you ‘Jed’ now.” It circulated through our circle of friends and I came to respond to 'Jed’ as quickly as 'J.D.’ There was a short song at one point, starting off with 'Jed the guy who wanted to fly…’ These days I don’t hear the nickname as much, but it is useful as an online handle.

2. I actually DO know a little science. I majored in physics in university and got my Bachelors of Science. My courses covered a range of topics so aspiring physicists could figure out what areas they wanted to focus on for their higher degrees. So I know a little bit about a lot of things! (Fun fact: quantum mechanics is really weird, and basically everything you were taught up until then was kind of a lie.)

3. My acting career goal is to join the ranks of those actors who are phenomenal Shakespearean actors but also significant figures in sci-fi circles. Such folks as Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellan, and (obviously) David Tennant. But Canadian.
