Final fight

It looks like Quaritch gets an upper hand in the fight and Jake falls down (can't wait for the IMAX format trailer to see more)

We saw Quaritch and Jake fight in last trailer

While Spider is sneaking above them.

It seems Jake falls and Quaritch jumps down to finish him off

But maybe Spider gets there first to stand between him and Jake.

He's trying to protect Jake but look how much it costs him. Spider is shaking. Crying. Almost begging Quaritch not to get close. He doesn't want to shoot. How much closer did they get? How can Quaritch keep putting Spider in this position?

Part of me is worried that this scene below is Quaritch on the other side of that crossbow. Calling Spider's bluff. Because he doesn't look like he cares here. Like this time he wants to kill Jake more.

And then Jake gets up. Did Quaritch do something that made Spider fall? I that why Jake is so shocked? Or is it because Spider is defending him? Or maybe because Spider did shoot?

And Spider falls. Is it Quaritch fault? Or just Spider has lost footing in distress? Did he shoot? Who will come after him? Would Quaritch stop for him this time?

I almost wish Spider got Quaritch for being such an asshole and always chosing the wrong path but I don't want Spider to have this on his concience. There is a reason Greeks made this such a big part of their tragedies and why MCU writers gave this to Kingpin as a backstory. It should never be on Spider.

Luckily, we know Quaritch doesn't die. He comes back for the future movies. Still, I hope Spider doesn't even have to think he killed him. Let it be on someone else's shoulders.

Part of me still wishes Quaritch runs to rescue him but then tries to take Spider with him. And then the cavalry comes in the form of Neytiri and she forces Quaritch leave Spider. I want her to show he wouldn't be left behind again.

But we have to wait and see 😕
