Unfortunately I haven't been able to play a lot these past idk one or two years so there are probably a bunch of great IFs that I don't know, and I'm not up do date at all with what's going on in the community :( that being said, since you're looking for recommendations I do love Project Hadea by @nyehilismwriting and The Northern Passage by @northern-passage a lot. Both of them are still unfinished, but there is a demo that you can play to get hooked like I did, and the authors are amazing, fairly active and update whenever they're able, so if it doesn't bother you to wait do check them out!
