Ok I'm reading the black dawn by Rachel Caine. (Morganville vampire) and I'm up to Shane's F**ked up dream thing WTF!!!! What?the.hell. Shane's mayor and Monica gets run over by a bus???? Really shane can't really be sooooo stupid to think that real right? I mean it's just sooooooo perfect, like nothing can be that perfect. This is properly the most hilarious bit in the whole series just because of f'd up this all is. Anyway loving the series but really wanting to get back to 'real life. 😆😐

I enjoyed the first book to this series as an introduction I thought it was very good. You start out with your main character Claire and you begin to learn slowly what is happening to her while you learn about the world that has been created by the author. 

I liked the idea of vampires owning a town and people having to pay in their blood for their protection, I personally thought it gave a new twist on reality and it made the book a hell of a lot more interesting. 

It made the thought of blood is like money come into our heads. It deals with some high level issues without making it seem like it is. I loved the other characters representation as well. Eve a little goth girl and Micheal someone Eve is in love with and of course Shane the bad boy. 

it’s got all you’re main ster-otype people surrounding the world that Claire lives in and thats why i found it an enjoyable read. From what I read you know there is going to be more going on and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. 

Having a town full of vampires just opens up the idea of introducing more characters and more adventures without overloading you’re reader with two many developed characters which I can’t wait to enjoy. 

it you get lost in the fantasy world that is Morganville then I’m sure you can enjoy all that it has to offer in it. Personally I read the first three books as an Omnibus so It’s hard to distinguish between them in my head. 

But I loved the rollar coaster that the characters go through as individuals and as a group. Right now my favourite character is Shane but as the books develop I’ll keep you updated on who I prefer.
