Is one version of shanghai going to be more pleasant than the other?

“Shanghaid” Review

Well, here you go. This is my take on Shangheid. So this is my second favorite episode of the series, and I also think this is one of the funniest episodes ever. Not only with the dialogue but the animation is pretty awesome as well! There's jokes in a lot of the animation like the faces Patrick makes when squidward is ranting xD 

Also this episode has 3 endings! You can find them on YouTube. Nickelodeon ad viewers call in and vote on which ending they wanted, and Spongebob’s won of course. But that's why at the beginning Patchy is on it and calls it “Patchy’s pick”. 

All the characters were funny and I also like how it fleshed out the flying dutchman’s character. One of my favorite parts is when SB and Pat are trying to scare people with Dutchman and they burst through a metal wall. 

Overall I would give this episode a 9.9/10. Definitely a must watch for first time viewers! Stay tuned for more reviews, and make sure to share this page (:

My Favorite Episodes of SpongeBob

Today I’m going to talk about the episode “Shanghaid!”

This is another one of the best episodes IN MY OPINION. First i have to say a fun fact; this episode was aired separately to its sister episode “Gary Takes a Bath”. It was supposed to be a special which is why Patchy is in it. Now if you watch carefully you realize that his mouth is not saying what the audio is. This is because the purpose of it being a special was that kid’s would call a number telling Patchy which ending they wanted during the commercials (SpongBobs’s, Patrick’s, or Squidward’s) and obviously SpongeBob’s won. So they made Tom Kenny record separate audio from its original recording.

But anyways, this episode is funny. No, its fucking hilarious. Every joke works. I always laugh at the beginning when Sponge thinks the sky had a baby xD Also the fly of despair was terrifying but funny to see all the random stuff like Spaghetti noodles and meatballs. Also if you pay attention to Patrick during the part where they meet the flying Dutchman he makes the strangest faces that are a joy to look at. And I feel like I am forgetting something.....

Oh yea

THE PERFUME DEPARTMENT!  No one forgets that part. 

Overall, this is a great example of what a good SB episode is: Funny jokes, small plot, great animation! and it’s in season 2. Show this episode to all our friends who haven’t seen it!
