As much as she's very drawn to Lyall's big personality and experience as a mage, Shan finds in Caspar a father figure (and some much needed comfort in his quiet steady presence) in the wake of Ava's abrupt absence.

(He's supposed to be painting and that's a palette in his hand in the first image, by the way, I just ran out of room to communicate the painting bit.)

New OC development! Charlie is situated on a walking trail that leads out of Curio, and into the forest around the city. This will allow her to interact with Caspar and Lyall semi-regularly. And when the Levys befriend her, she becomes a trusted guardian figure for Shan and Remy, which will allow the girls to hang around the trail without their parents.

Now thinking I should figure a sort of map of Curio City and the immediate surrounding areas, just get a sense of how big it is, where key characters are, etc...

Shaniece and Remy (first appearance!), probably at least in their teen years here. Gonna try working my way backwards from this to when they're even younger. Hopefully that'll help me figure out what characteristics visually define the girls as I de-age their designs.
