When the General had made his first pass at Raiden, he'd grinned wide, sharp fangs prominent and glinting in the light like a promise or a threat. He'd spoken like he was fully prepared to put Raiden on his knees or in chains, but the moment Raiden had knocked him on his back during their battle, he'd entirely switched gears. Suddenly, he seemed to be putting Raiden in control, less leering and taunting and pushing and more glancing and murmuring and pulling, like a lover gently pulling their partner into bed with them rather than a hookup shoving their plaything down onto the mattress.

And now Raiden has Shao bent over, kneeling, bowing on his own bed, like a servant worshipping some god.
