“I appreciate the worry, but it’s reciprocated you know. There aren’t many in this world I care about, the majority I had lost when I was younger, so I think the risk of coming to see you is well worth it.” She smiled in her armored wear, uncomfortable as it was to her. she much rather her cloth that was light and had freedom of movement.
“Logically I know you’ll be fine, you’ve been here most of your life yeah? But I. I must admit I have a fear of loss. You are more than a friend to me, then again most of my friends are, you are family. And I really don’t want to lose more family in my time A’nifaris.” She let out a soft slow breath as if it was a world of weight of her chest. “I hope you understand why I am so adamant about risking my dream, my work, and my life, just to see you, I simply cannot lose another.”
“ I understand... Believe me, I do. But it does not stop my concerns. ” She said in a light shrug of her shoulders. It only seemed they both would need to accept each other’s point. Though really, even if she had been there for a good chunk of her life, it did not mean she could not attract their hatred any less, but she was not about to increase the other’s worries like that.
So, she’d calmly approach the other, hands lightly cupping her face, “ I appreciate the thought, dear. But you will not lose me any time soon. ” A pause, signified by a soft exhale, “ At least promise me that, if ever you think you might be in trouble here, do not think twice before getting as far away from this place as you can, yes? ” Part of her wished to be the one to help, of course. But sometimes she had to be realistic, and the best way she’d help would be to let the other go.
