Share A Nap With
Have you ever try teaching an elderly person how to use a device? The experience is heavenly sweet. Nope! That’s me just thinking out loud. DON’T, DO NOT, and NEVER try to teach any old person how to use their new device if you don’t have patience (I don’t mean Mama Peace).
It so happened one day while out with a 92 year old friend I wanted to share some of my cool experience with him, most of which are picture’s music and videos on my phone. Then he remember he had an Android tablet he’ll like to learn it’s operation. Oh goodness gracious, I was excited to help. I had the whole day to myself that Saturday.
After 25 minutes of tutoring we have completely learnt how to lock and unlock the phone, the home screen, menu button, and what icons are. Between that time he took 3 quick nap. Thank God it was a Saturday and I was on a cool comfy couch, so I joined in the “share a nap” with grandpa. What’s your experience like with an older person? What did you get to share?
