Gen2 Peecock Review - Pics under the cut
Gen2 Peecock 5.5 inch in Moderate Brown. It comes with a black velvet storage bag and and erection rod. As an additional purchase I got the pleasure kit [silicone attachment]. There was also free lube and a condom [not pictured] and an information sheet.
The packaging was very discreet. It was in a plain cardboard box inside a plastic FedEx envelope. They do not use the Peecock Product company name on the return address. I paid extra to ensure it came before I went on vacation but it still came way earlier than I expected. I wouldn’t worry about it taking a long time in the mail.
When I opened it, it didn’t smell weird and it’s not as sticky as the Mr. Limpy. It’s not worth dusting since it’s not as sticky and it gets pretty hot and sweaty during use. It looks like a “loose” circumcision. I don’t know why but the circumcision on the Gen2 5.5 inch looks different than on the Gen2 4 inch and Gen2 6.5 inch judging from the pictures on their website. The 5.5 inch came out before the other sizes but I don’t know why they would change the way the head looks. It’s veiny and has a weird overall texture. The only way I can describe it is that it looks like the impression you make when you take Play-doh and put it on your hair or a crumpled plastic bag or something. Especially around the balls. I guess they are supposed to be wrinkles? It’s not very realistic. The balls also has a lumpy surface and feels too firm. Even with it’s imperfections I love that it has 3D balls. It’s not a common feature among more affordably priced packers and it’s something I’ve wanted for awhile. I’m not sure if medical adhesive would work with this but the top tab is big enough to try it. It feels pretty durable in general.
To use: Place funnel against your body tight enough to make a seal but not so much that the funnel collapses. The back flap should stop right where your anus starts. Hold the balls back and upwards with one hand [if not used with a jock harness] and hold the shaft with the other hand. Shake it off.
It has a deep funnel which gives it a bigger liquid capacity than other STPs I’ve tried. It also has a back flap to prevent back flow. I feel like with both of these features it’s impossible to leak unless you press the Peecock too hard against your body that the funnel collapses and/or the back flap isn’t laying flat against you. Make sure the funnel makes a seal around you. It does leave you feeling a little damp since you can't really scrape off any excess fluid when it's in a harness. I would also recommend drinking a lot of water to prevent possible UTI's. The first time I wore it going out I was so excited about it I kind of got carried away and didn’t check to see if the back flap was in the right place and leaked. It got a little twisted in pants but that was my only accident. Every other time it has worked well for me with or without a harness. It drains really well and fast. I really like the rectangular opening for the urethra. It makes the stream flow straight and look natural. In my experience with other STPs like a medicine spoon or my GV packer with a nipple receptacle the opening at the opposite end was big and round so the stream would sometimes do this cyclone thing and flow in random directions. With the Peecock it’s easy to aim.
Packing is a breeze. It’s hollow so it’s lighter. I position the shaft to the side and it’s not too heavy that it falls or starts doing it’s own thing flipping around and stuff. It collapses so it doesn’t give you a boner. When you squeeze or push it all the way down it does make a popping sound but it doesn’t do this during it’s intended use. If you were to get groped in a gay bar or club it should be fine since these are generally loud places and you won’t hear the sound. I really like the funnel shape and that it conforms to my body. It feels more like it’s a part of me than other packers with flat backs. Another unexpected bonus is that because of it’s funnel shape it gives you more room if you’ve had genital growth or are post-op [meta]. I’ve heard that for some guys packing becomes uncomfortable after going on T, which has now become a problem for me. With the Peecock I don’t have this problem. It can be worn with or without a harness in tight underwear. I wear a harness to work and while swimming.
The play feature is where the Peecock comes up short. On the website it shows the erection rod bending. It is not bendable. It is also a bit sharp at the end so I would suggest sanding it or melting it down so that it doesn’t damage your Peecock. I purchased the optional silicone attachment called the “Pleasure Kit.” The way it is shown on the product website it was inserted with the smaller end of the Pleasure Kit on top attached to the erection rod so that it pointed downward. I tried it this way and it didn’t work so well. The angle of the shaft pointed too low and made it uncomfortable for me. I switched the erection rod around so that it pointed upwards and kept the smaller end of the Pleasure Kit on top. This pointed the shaft higher and made it easier. The Pleasure Kit was designed to fit the erection rod the way it is shown on the website so when I switched it around it doesn’t stay attached as well. It did feel good for me at times but it is hard to get it in the right position and get it to stay in that position. I think it’s a great concept but definitely needs improvement in design. The Pleasure Kit is hit or miss. On the good side the Peecock slides over the erection rod with lube so it simulates the movement of a penis more closely than other packers if that’s something you’re into.
I took one point off for the play feature and half a point for aesthetics [and that’s being picky]. Overall this is an awesome product. It’s definitely my favorite STP/packer thus far. I would buy from this company again and look forward to future generations and their improvements.
Would I recommend this product to others?: Yes! But as an STP packer. The play part is a gamble.
