         HE WAS TWO SECONDS AWAY FROM PULLING A PAPER BAG DOWN OVER HER HEAD, and carrying her out of this bar. It never failed, that no matter where they went, Rose just had to pick a fight with someone. Tonight, it was a werewolf nearly three times her size. It wasn’t like they couldn’t take him if they had to, but it wasn’t Alec’s job to start fights with the downworlders or break them up. In fact, his job had been to protect them. This hardly came close to that. 

       “You and me, we’re leaving,” Alec hissed. His long, lean fingers wrapped around her tanned, shoulderblades as he ushered her towards the exit and nudged her to keep walking. “You’re worse than Jace. I can’t take you anywhere!”      //     @shdwkssd
