It is the epitome of irony how Layla doesn't feel like Jordan is strong enough for her honesty so she's coming up with lies to spare his feelings and leading him on by entertaining something she clearly doesn't want for his sake and wearing that engagement ring all while being unsure of everything that it means and where she's at and what she actually wants. It's almost like honesty when you feel the person can't handle it because they are so happy is hard. Honesty for their sake and your own isn't so easy. Ironic huh?
