She
She never talked about herself
For her mind was filled which tales of elves,
She dreamt of a land unknown
A land she knew, whose cover could never be blown.
But here she was trying to warn us
About all the things that could be true,
That all the myths weren't simply bluffs
And that truth lay in the things she drew.
She whimpered like she wanted us to know
That all the things that she believes in were buried deep under the snow,
All she ever wanted and all she ever knew
Was all withing her reach before the storm started to brew.
She believed that each snowflake was one of the very old,
Like the myths of mystery had foretold.
