first I'd like to note the callback to the episode Chameleon. very nice.

next, I'm curious about who us and them are. when she refers to them, she may be referring to herself as Chrysalis, or she may be referring to someone else. as for when she's referring to us, I can't help but to think of the way season 5 ended, with the bright light shining. it makes me think that may be the person who is helping her. perhaps her from the future? perhaps Tomoe? perhaps a different threat we haven't been introduced to yet? not sure, but very interesting.

also loving the implication that she's just at the cafe spying on marinette and adrien on their date.

I love how in Watamote, the writers often write her in ways that reinforce the idea that she's straight. But then they write a chapter where tomoko gets so anxious at the thought of her best friend not responding to her messages during New Years Eve that she starts roleplaying the paranoid delusion of her friend possibly spending the night with her boyfriend at a love hotel.

Followed by inmense relief after finding out she wasn't lying and that she actually spent it at karaoke with her friends
