What gets me is that this is probably the first time Regina has ever done anything for another person. Of course she does benefit from this too, but she really is trying to make Mana happy now that they’ve agreed to be friends--look how proud she is in the last panel!

Her first attempt at acting unselfishly is to lock her friend’s teacher out of the classroom so that Mana has an excuse not to go to class. And she genuinely means well and believes Mana will appreciate this.

I love her. She’s got so much to learn.
