a  grumble  of   annoyance  filters  through  the  air  that  equates  to  the  same  echo  of  the  rain  hitting  the  sidewalk  ,  the  tin  roof  protecting  a  nearby  shop  door  —  and  unluckily  for  her  ,  the  puddle  that  she’d  nearly  fallen  face  first  into  .  she  looks  up  ,  irritation  following  through  with  a  sigh  out  of  her  lips  ,  there’s  a  half  assed  attempt  to  brush  the  rain  off  of  her  outfit  but  an  annoyed  huff  shows  that  it’s   pointless  .  ❛    i  mean  ,  i  guess  —  and  hey  ,  maybe  i’m  wrong ❜    a  hand  rises  to  shield  her  eyes  from  the  rain  in  search  of  somewhere  dry  to  duck  for  cover  ,  ❛      that  not  only  did  i  just  get  my  ass  kicked  by  a  curb  and  puddle  combo  attack  ,  but  the   damn  river  going  downhill  stole  my  umbrella  .   ❜
