Some kind of... well, she’s really not sure what this woman is, but she does remind Vanessa of that odd little device the hat child was carrying around. Maybe they’re related?
In any case, the woman is clearly in danger - this forest is a deathtrap.

I can guide you to the exit, should you want to leave.“ Comes an almost eerie voice, though the source is notably less terrifying than one would expect - she certainly doesn’t look... normal, what with the shadows crawling over her form, and her almost monstrous mouth, but... y’know, most people associate that voice with ‘scary icy death’ so.
