only because none of my irl pals are on here anymore and i'm now *30-something old person yelling into the ether* --- my wife finally bought some baby chicks and now i am a proud but exhausted parent of two lavender orps.
one is very relaxed and curious. she has been able to eat and sleep and do her business, no problem. no worries.
however the other one is the NOISIEST codependent baby. she was only able to fall asleep without crying by being nestled in my hand. which definitely made me cry but like ... girl go tf to sleep please! i would be distressed too if i was flown in from iowa and only had a few minutes off the truck before getting carried away from the rest of the chick brood and put into a box. i love this little whiny baby, she is so annoying!!!
tomorrow we will be getting two or three more (buff orps) but i hope my little crier acclimates well.
