I really don’t know where to begin with this. I have been wanting to do this for a while but I just can’t seem to bring myself to do it. I don’t know why I need this to make sense right away.

My boy, I miss you. I want you to know I think about you every day. I may not be around right now but I will be around again before you know it.  

What’s new with me? Well that’s been the great debate so far. How much should I tell you? I could be a cynical prick about it and tell it “like it is”. What kind of father would I be if I did that? That’s right I’d be Vader and look what happened to Luke. I don’t know yet only episode VII has come out at this point.

Yes, I did dodge the question there. I don’t know. What can I say right now? My life isn’t exactly where I wanted it to go but I’m not upset about it. I’ve got some decent enough stuff going on. Oh who am I kidding you know me to well my son. Life is fine though seeing the bigger picture and all that stuff.

I just keep distracting myself though. I don’t know why I find it so hard to stay focused? I just do. You get that right? Your eyes dart to anything that makes funny sounds and lights up. I get that for you. To you everything is all “Oh what the hell is that thing now?” at least that’s how you were when I last saw you. You’re only two now so plenty of awesome things for you to be amazed by. Like today I was amazed by Sheldon. He got it in his head the couch was going to pay. For what? I don’t know. Maybe Sheldon thinking the couch is eating his toys that he kicks under there. Bottom line your cat is just as crazy as ever.

I guess I did it again eh? I guess my biggest problem is I don’t know how old you will be when you first read this. I don’t want to warp your fragile little mind. I guess that can be for another day. Just wanted to say I miss you Jaxsyn.
