Nino has always beenAdrien’s touchstone. Without him he honestly thought he would just be a shellof a person. Nino was the person who believed in Adrien and encouraged him tostand up even to those he was not sure if he ever could. With Nino he couldforget the things that people though made him special “model”, “rich”, “talented”all these words people flew around that really did not matter to him. If anything,they distracted people away from who he was. He never had to worry about thatwith Nino. He knew him and understood him. So, going to Nino’s house was a nobrainer. Escape the jail cell that the mansion was and be with his best friend.They would play video games and stay up late eating pizza. So, what ifsometimes they would cuddle close together as they watched funny cat videos. Orheld hands when they were on another mission to sneak Adrien away. Or even whentheir noes brushed that first time. Neither one sure who made the first movebut like gravity’s pull their foreheads brushed each other’s, then their noses,then well you know the rest. Also at least once the bill of Nino’s hat alsotook out Adrien’s eye because they forgot about it and both ended up in a fitof laughter.

It seemed that every person that crossed Chloe’s path was contaminated by the foreign disease that Wonderland had broadcast earlier in the week. The sight of the sickly people, burping up leaves and crying over regurgitated petals, caused the girl’s own stomach to churn. It was disgusting to know that this was real and that this ridiculous sickness was infecting so many people.

For once around this cutesy Hallmark holiday, the little girl was thankful that she hadn’t fallen under the ‘love curse’ that plagued many people. Puking daisies just wasn’t a good look for her.

The blonde dug through her bag as she searched for her apartment's keys, sifting between various make-up brushes and bright lip glosses. Perfectly plucked brows narrowed as she plunged her hand further into the purse. Where are you?

Upon hearing footsteps, she glanced through her peripheral vision and saw Nino Lahiffe walking down the hallway. Of course. She rolled her eyes as she resumed her search. “Hi, Nino,” she greeted. “You steering clear of this Hanahaki disease so my dear Adrikins doesn’t catch it?”

There were few conveniences that Chloe Bourgeois has had since arriving in Wonderland. She wasn’t able to name drop her father or her relation to the person in charge. She didn’t have her butler here, which was terrible because the girl didn’t know about the various equipment in her apartment; if it wasn’t for the elderly couple down the hall, then Chloe’s life would be falling apart more than it was.

One luxury that the girl had was living in the same complex as Adrien Agreste. 

It was silly to be excited by something so lackluster, but after knowing the boy for years and being able to see him less and less, this made things easier for her. She was determined to rekindle and keep her friendship with the blond male. This whole ordeal just made everyting more... convenient.

Chloe stared at her friend as she wandered along the hallway, double-checking the room number that Adrien had given her. Blue eyes glanced upward and back down before her brows knitted together. “About time. I thought for sure I was lost.” Taking a deep breath, Chloe pressed the apartment’s doorbell, alerting Adrikins to her presence.

That rhythm. The beat. From a distance Tamaki could tell that this boy was a musician. It was always endearing to meet others that were trained in the way of music, even if they weren’t as classical as him. “My dear sir, I apologize for intruding on your work. But I couldn’t help but noticing how cute you are when you’re deep within your work.”

8. …in secrecy.

Throughout the show, Luka couldn’t help but steal glances at his partner. The boy’s beats meshed well with his guitar’s chords. When their set list finished, the crowd cheered their final applause as the duo and their crew waltzed off stage. “Good show,” Luka said, clasping Nino on the back. After he put his guitar away, he joined everybody in heading towards the exit. 

“Wait, Nino.” Luka grabbed the other by the wrist and pulled him down a side hallway, ignoring whether or not the other stage crew members noticed their disappearance. The guitarist stared at the DJ for a moment before softly pushing him against a wall and pressing their lips together. Less than a minute later, Luka pulled away and gave a cool smile as his eyes filled with something. 

“Sorry about that,” he apologized. He reached his hand up before clenching it into a fist and letting it fall beside his side. “I’ll see you later, right?” he said, confidence and certainty beginning to fill his voice as he turned and stride down the hallway.
