@theroseandthebeast Dragon Friends, Wooden Overcoats, EOS 10 -- also +1 to the other McElroy content :)
I had Wooden Overcoats and EOS 10 on my Someday List, but now that I know they’re funny, I’ll be moving them further up! Added Dragon Friends, too. I always love a good D&D show.
@nelsynoo I know you're a big fan of classic British comedy - "I'm sorry I haven't a clue" is British humour personified. There's an entire round where they play a game they made up.Actions
I listened to 15 seconds of this and I’m already DELIGHTED. (I looked it up and the non-podcast version of this show is on series 72! That’s wild!) I can’t wait to listen to more!
@shenanigaining Mission To Zyxxxxx. Improvised sci-fi comedy, but they use the improv to create the world they play in, such as a version of Hollywood where ships are actors. Regularly riff on Star Wars, occasionally Star Trek, but very much it's own weird thing, currently between seasons 3 & 4, very good, lotta great guests, just super good
(I added too many X's, it's just Zyxx)
That sounds kind of like Hello from the Magic Tavern, which I love! Awesome! I’ll give this a try for sure.
@andinocara Rusty Quill Gaming is a well-produced DnD podcast, while Stella Firma is a very funny series (British, both from the people who do Magnus Archive but not scary).
I’ve heard of those, but for some reason I thought Rusty Quill and Magnus Archives were the same show, so when I looked at it and saw horror I skipped it. (I love horror, just not right before bed.) I’ll definitely try Rusty Quill, and also Magnus Archives during the daylight!
