Ahh! I just finished it a couple days ago. It’s so good. I loved it!

I loved the series so so much (no, I still haven't been able to watch the last episode, but I'm pretty sure my opinion won't change afterwards). Everything about it was amazing!

You've read The Name of the Rose! I would very much like to read it someday, but it's so intimidating.

I totally understand! I mean, even Umberto Eco said that if you couldn’t make it past the first 100 pages, you shouldn’t bother reading the rest… which it’s an extreme way to put it, frankly.

Trust me, it’s totally worth it. Yes, there are parts you’ll have to read more than once, parts you’ll want to read over and over, even maybe you’ll have to do a bit of research to understand what he’s talking about, but it’s an enjoyable journey. It’s one of the most rewarding reading experiences I’ve ever had. 

Fourteenth Century. An Abbey. Murders most foul. Religion, devotion, lust. Labyrinths, Libraries and Books. Sleuths, secrets, riddles and even the Inquisition! And, of course, the (doomed?) doomed for truth and knowledge. It has everything <3

Agreed! I ADORE Martha. I thought she was such a strong capable woman. I do not understand the hate she gets from the fandom. They hate her because she had a crush on the Doctor? Are they pretending that they wouldn't be the exact same way if they were companions? But she realized he didn't feel that way for her and she got out. She did what was best for her, she got an awesome career and bettered herself FOR herself and people still hate her? And it's not fair how the Doctor treated her. Ugh.

I've read so many people saying "UGH Martha is okay but she came RIGHT after Rose and tried to get with the Doctor", and for some reason there are people who literally thinks thats a good enough reason to hate on her. 

people bashing awesome female characters cause they think she gets in the way of their otp is the reason I will kill myself

It's like these angel things come to earth and start blowin shit up i guess? so it's kind of Pacific Rim-y because they have giant things that fight them idk
