I totally understand! I mean, even Umberto Eco said that if you couldn’t make it past the first 100 pages, you shouldn’t bother reading the rest… which it’s an extreme way to put it, frankly.
Trust me, it’s totally worth it. Yes, there are parts you’ll have to read more than once, parts you’ll want to read over and over, even maybe you’ll have to do a bit of research to understand what he’s talking about, but it’s an enjoyable journey. It’s one of the most rewarding reading experiences I’ve ever had.
