Well now the winged demons are not that bad anymore. The worst right now are the bow knights. They’re kind of annoying.
Well, I’ll try to get past them another time.

Well now the winged demons are not that bad anymore. The worst right now are the bow knights. They’re kind of annoying.
Well, I’ll try to get past them another time.
After getting the Thunder Stoneplate Ring, and going back to Anor Londo, I can say that this is kind of helping. I’m at least taking less damage than I used to.
Now I’m just hoping those bow knights are not gonna be a huge pain in the ass.
Those winged demons are a real pain in the ass. But I managed to find a way to kill them fast and easy. Except when there’s two. It’s annoying.
I think I’ll go back to Sen’s Fortress to get the Thunder Stoneplate Ring from the Crestfallen Merchant. At least that should help with the damage that goes through my shield against them.
And back into the Shield Run!
I just got into Anor Londo, and going through the ceiling area with the Painting Guardians was kind of a pain. I was trying to push them off the ramps while trying to stay on them as well. I fell the first time.
And now I got the Black Iron set, and found the second bonfire.
Okay so, I did fight the Gargoyle, and it’s dead now. But I have to deal with walking around the ceiling of the big building, and this is going to be painful.
I’ve actually been debating again if I should dual wield shields, or just two-hand it. ‘Cause I actually just realized that I can’t hit if the shield is in my left hand. And the damage doesn’t change much either if I two-hand it. It goes from 122 to 129.
I guess I’ll just have to figure that out. Also still wondering if I’m going to go with Hollow Soldier Shield upgraded to Lightning, or just not be lazy and go get the Pierce Shield.
So I just got to the bonfire, and it’s all good and fun, but I’m not looking forward to have to fight yet another of those Gargoyles.
Well, at least I’m one step closer to my goal.
Remember when I said I was taking a break from doing my Shield Run? Well guess what I’m doing again? That’s right, I’m liveblogging my Shield Run again. I was actually going to take a break and play on my other character, but I changed my mind.
So now that we’re back on track, I’ve just managed to defeat the Iron Golem, and it wasn’t without a lot of effort. As stubborn as I am, I never summoned Tarkus to help me with the fight.
I actually ended up using some light armor to make it easy to dodge those pesky grabs. Then the rest was just a better timing, which I lacked until I went down to 45 HP without any Estus left.
So yeah, I pretty much just chipped away at its health until it actually died, while living off very low HP. That was a very satisfying battle, and I’m glad I didn’t give up.
Now, to Anor Londo! I can’t wait to go see my favorite blacksmith and have lightning on my shield.
I didn’t try with Tarkus yet, but I don’t actually really feel like fighting the Iron Golem right now. So I’ll just go on my NG+ character and do whatever the heck it is I do :v
I’ll try it later o vo
