Lights Out {Cedric and Shiloh}
Cedric hadn't been in Havenbrook for two whole weeks before deciding to visit the infamous strip club in town. It wasn't that he particularly wanted to see the girls stripping, or that he had any friends who wanted to go meet them, but he was in the awkward stage of meeting the people in Havenbrook, and that included the entertainers. He didn't mind that he was going alone; used to the loneliness after all those years. He didn't bother getting a false ID either, because it was too much work and too little gain- he didn't plan on drinking and was already old enough to enter the establishment without that. His birthday was two weeks away, anyways, so it would become useless too soon.
Now, Cedric had been in a strip club before, in those years that he spent going from city to city in his own version of a Grand Tour. But the dim lights of the place were so attractive, with an air of mysteriousness that he felt drawn to, that he wondered why didn't he frequent these places more often. The answer, of course, was that he didn't have friends to go with him and the occasional drunks annoyed him. Tonight was an exception. He was trying to memorise each face and what they were doing there - those who were trying to bed the girls and those who were playing cards.
The show must have been ending by the time he arrived - it was very late, after all - but it was okay. He didn't get too close to the girls and he didn't sit down, but the sight of some familiar faces amused him. He wondered if everyone knew what they did for a living; in small towns, such occupations could be frowned upon. He didn't know Havenbrook well enough to see if it was the case. Maybe he should approach them, ask a few questions, but for the time being, he just watched, not sure if any of them had recognised him. But he did catch the eye of one girl, and smiled at her, unsure if she would smile back.
