Post-day three of school
I can already feel myself slipping back into the gloom of last year, and I'm not going to let myself. It's so hard to be a light for God when there are people everywhere trying to blow you out, and I honestly cannot do it alone. Everywhere I turn, someone is cursing or wearing vulgar clothing or doing something that God isn't going to smile upon. I want to be able to shine for God, and have people wonder why I'm so different. I want to be able to tell them it's because of the guy upstairs. So far it's been hard, and it's only day three. Just dealing with the impact of the worldly chaos is throwing my joy out of whack. I'm praying for God to shine through me, and to leave his peace and joy with me when I walk through those doors in the morning. If it means losing people, let me loose em. If it means hurting, let me hurt. I don't want to live my simple, nonchalant, worldly life like I was last year. I want to be different, for him. He's gonna have my back the entire way.
I can't wait for all the changes he's going to throw into motion..
