1969 - Puzzle was an acid rock/prog rock band fronted by First Nations musician Curtis Johnnie. Their only album was released in 1969 by ABC Records.
Born in Winnipeg and raised on the Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation, Johnnie was a towering presence and an impressive bass player. Well-known in Native communities under his stage name Shingoose, he was a regular on Canadian television in the 1980s.
