Soooo, how about that preview for tomorrow's episode? I like legit forgot/stopped caring about Steven's nightmare the second I saw Peridot's overly-eager ass bring the popcorn and two drinks aaaaaaand the lovely "STEVENSTEVENSTEVENSTEVENSTEVEN~~!!!" .... like GOD, I missed their interaction SO, SO much.

Oh god, same. It brought back my old Stevidot shipping feelings HARD. I can’t wait for this episode! Though judging by the one Tweet we got back then about their interaction, it’s gonna end up a sad one.

It's the side-story to Gem Ascension between Parts 2 and 3.

This is the current story I’m working on. 8 chapters total, I’ve finished 6, and I’m a little over the 3k mark on 7. Probably would’ve gotten farther but then the deletion of my tumblr happened and that just killed my brain for the rest of the day. And 3k might not mean much since this is the Lapis chapter, and I anticipate both that and the Steven chapter to be ungodly huge. 

Also, I made this for the cover of the ff.net version. I made it before the season 5 finale aired, otherwise I would’ve used the actual new outfits in this.

For what it’s worth, in-story, everybody who got an outfit upgrade in the show has it in the story by this point... save for Peridot. But she’ll probably have it early on in Part 3. She does have a busted visor now...

So, get this: an anti tries to shame my Stevidot love with the pedo excuse. I tell them repeatedly they have no idea what the word means. Moron literally tells me to "google image search for anti-stevidot" for the actual definition. Then complains that they can't attach pics to "give" me said definition. Apparently this anti not only doesn't understand the concept of credible sources, but also the concept of copy+paste. You were right: it's fun breaking their balls!

Ha ha, it is fun indeed! It also shows that we won’t back down or won’t roll over and abandon what we love.

Ah, didn't know you liked Detective Conan, too! I haven't seen it in a while either, but there's a Youtube dude who goes by SBN3 who did a couple of awesome parodies on it. Also, I think this year the anime will be reaching literally 1000 episodes. The manga reached that a couple of years ago. I love the series, but if there was ever one that was the ultimate definition of "I am NEVER catching up on this"...

I could have sworn I told you... Huh. I might check those out later at some point.

Oh god yes, I am so far behind it isn’t even funny. A lot of episodes and such are just rehashes of other plots though, from what I’ve seen. Just because of how long it has been going on for. They really should just finish it up, it’s been going since 1996.

This part was actually too big to post to AO3 in its entirety, so you get a Chapter 3 and Chapter 4.

It trounces my old record from GA2, coming in at 299 pages, or 112k+ words.

Good fucking god.

Anyway, this will be seeing more use in the near future since I still have designs to canonize and references to point out because THERE’S SO FUCKING MANY.

Phew. Definitely taking a break now. I got lots of mileage out of this random spurt of writing.
