Dark Nation was sick of Rufus being behind doors she wasn't allowed to open. Frustrated to no end, she hunted down the closest human that could open that door, which happened to be Reeve. She sat next to him and let out a booming, startling bark, then watched him expectantly. (shinra-hound)
Reeve had always enjoyed reading about the impressive beasts that roamed the planet, marvelling at their physicality and unique traits. From summons to dragons, coeurls to hellhounds. He had even made himself up a card game based on their statistics that he had read in those bestiaries. It is all a little different when it is up close and personal however.
He jumps a little at the sudden loud bark besides him, body jolting he places one palm on his chest feeling the race of his heartbeat, “Goodness, you gave me a shock Dark Nation.” He speaks warily, trying not to make too much eye contact. Or should that be the other way around? Hazel drops to look into blood red eyes. No, no perhaps not!
What did the impressive beast want from him? A treat? No, he had no food on him. Had hurried, soon-to-be-late as he was to the Board meeting. Speaking of which.... “Ahh, you’ve been left out in the cold have you?” His tone softens slightly. Rufus was in the Board Room today, a rare enough “treat” in itself.
“I’m sorry girl, I shouldn’t be letting you in. I need to open this door here and keep you outside. But, oh my, I do believe my shoelace is untied...” He pushes open the door and throws up his hands in fake protest, bending over at the waist and gives Dark Nation a little smile, careful not to display any teeth of his own. If anything, this could prove to be very interesting.
