Soooo aside from this
We also have this…👇🏽
I had to see it for myself so I rewatched Sozin’s Comet #2 and screen captured it
Yep, it’s there. So however you interpret it, its up to you.
Oh and lemme just add who the writer was for this ep.
Tadahhhh
Either that or blame the illustrator because we are just giddy in our own large zutara universe to pontificate it in whatever way we want lol.
Spoilers for wwdits s6 I guess?
Is it canon, yet?I
They got on a product called sex dust and made it into gravy. OK. Then they got out edible underwear, one for Rhett and one for Link, and Link was wearing his and offered to let Rhett eat it off of him. OK. Link took off his edible underwear, they dipped theirs in the sex dust gravy and ate them. OK.
Yep, so that actually happened.
GMM 1420
and, on the subject of queerbaiting, Fox US never used buddie as a marketing tactic, that's true.
HOWEVER.
Fox ES did. several times.
(Supernatural had rogue spanish translators, maybe 9-1-1/Fox has a rogue Spanish marketing team 🤷♀️)

Mot been able to see the ep yet and have been avoiding apoilers
What I have seen, sounds like Buddie is going the way of Sterek
can't comment on the sterek comparison because I've never watched that show, so I don't know what exactly went down over there.
regarding buddie... I've shared my feelings about it, but there are plenty of people that feel the opposite, so I'd recommend you watch the episode and see for yourself.
People don’t like to say Buddie is queerbaiting - and in a sense it isn’t, not in a show where lots of characters are queer and one of the main couples is wlw.
But also there is something about this show. The fact that lots of people who don’t watch it but sort of know of its existence think they are already together, the fact that *them* and Chris being sort of a family unit is a lot more advertised than Henren and Denny (and I get it, it’s fox, there’s also an element of racism in this), how they parallel the canon couples in the show in everything except for being together.
So sure. It isn’t queerbaiting. But they’re sure baiting for something by using their relationship and never delivering.
nothing to add, I agree 100%.
