I was just wondering, why don't you have a submit box? It may help you get people's pictures in faster.
We don’t have our submit box open mostly because I think it’d get really messy after a while. Plus, I know there’s a few people (myself included) who would rather have their posts linked to their blog, either so they can check tags / notes or because they just don’t like having their artwork reposted in a manner where they can no longer edit / update it. But one of the main reasons we don’t have it open is because there’s still a lot of people who don’t know about Gemsona-HQ / are new to the fandom, so they wouldn’t know to submit their gems!
We’ve been queueing from the gemsona tag for the past (almost) 3 years now, and while it’s not perfect, I think it’s the best method to show off people’s gemsonas!
