// An apology. I’m not ignoring you guys, I just really suck at coming up with greeters for OCs and I’ve been swamped with trying to catch up on all the follows and replies that happen while I’m at work. You’re welcome to jump on any of my poor neglected starters, or link me to your open starters.

“...Was that your attempt at being nice? You should work on that. Try to smile and tell me how pretty I am.” She grinned at him teasingly. What had even brought on the declaration she wasn’t sure.
“However, I’m perfectly capable of defending myself. Also, who would want to hurt this face? Besides yourself.”

Maybe she was drunk. Maybe she didn’t care. Maybe she just needed to feel something other than alcohol and pain. Malik just happened to be the one this had happened with, or so she was telling herself.
Each time they moved, the rickety bed below them would emitted small groans and creaks, threatening to give under their weight. Neither seemed to hear it as he turned her over, keeping her pressed against his bulge and making her writhe against him. Before his breeches could be undone, the bed gave one final, dramatic snap and crashed to the ground.
If she hadn’t been before, her hands gripped his shoulders and her legs hooked around him in desperate acts to stay safe. When everything settled, she realized she was just as aroused, if not more, than she had been before the bed broke. Maker’s breath she was never going to live this down.
“It was just the—” her sentence cut off into a ragged breath as his teeth raked along her sensitive skin. “—the bed. Hanged Man isn’t known for bring sturdy.”
"You busted my lip...."
“Yeah, you bruised my hand. I think I’m the wounded party here.”
“I admit in the past i’ve been a nasty.”
“You just admitted that? Why?”

“Hey now.” Torania held a cup to the man’s lips smoothing back his dirty hair. “Hey now there you go… The fever broke… The infection is gone…” Her crooning tone suddenly became more serious. “No seriously if you don’t wake up soon. I’m going to pour water on you. You soooooo owe me strange man. I saved your arse!” It was true. She had found him wandering and delirious with an infected leg wound. The warden queen had spend the last two days tending to him. She was actually rather good at this “caring for” thing. A fact she had discovered while helping her husband during the blight.
