- I’m the type of person that will use electronic devices until they no longer function. My last phone could only do basics because all the apps uninstalled themselves. 

- Puzzles, gundam kits etc, that’s my jam. I like to keep my hands busy especially when I feel anxious. Prefer to do them alone though.

H: How would you describe your style?

Hmm. This is a tough one because, for all that I love to read and write, I don’t actually know that much about literature styles? So I asked @ursapharoh05 and this is her response:

I: Do you have a guilty pleasure in fic (reading or writing)?

Hngh So Many. Hurt!Tim is a big one (obviously). I live for the catharsis of characters hurting each other and then airing it out. That’s one of my very favorite things to read AND write.

N: Is there a fic you wish someone else would write (or finish) for you?

Um, if this is in regards to my own fics? I don’t really have any that I would feel comfortable handing off to other people to finish, mostly because I’m very specific and overly picky. HOWEVER, if this is in regards to fics by other people that I would love to see finished?? So Many.

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?

Oh boy. Oh boy oh boy oh boy. @syntactition has such good angst. @incogneat-oh has the BEST mix of tension and relief, it’s incredible. @audreycritter is so good at the medical side of things, and her characterization is just 👌🏻👌🏻 perfect (also Dev?? I would very much like Dev to be canon, and soon, please and thank you). @wintersnight is So Good at writing that good Tim Angst so I have definitely picked up a few things there. There are honestly a hundred more, basically everything I read becomes a part of my style. Edit: I fricking,,, messed up. Idk who wintersnight is on Tumblr, but it’s @iphoenixrising on Tumblr! My apologies to both of you 😖

Favorite story you’ve written so far: okay okay, ahaha. so i'm stupidly fond of La Perm and still waters. La Perm, i sometimes go back to and hmm, reading it over, sometimes i think that it's not my best, but it felt like my best at the time, as every latest thing i've written does, so it's fine! that fic makes me emotional in a very special way, since it's almost a tribute to my prickly neighbourhood stray, opung/grandpapa. and then still waters, aha—i've said it before, but the absolute joy it brought the person i wrote for may have cemented its inherent value in my heart

Fic you were nervous to post: ahhhhh. i think. hmm. i used to be nervous about posting anything, really, before i suddenly was overcome by a stunning blitheness in attitude. but out of everything i've posted, it would probably be root cave and in the hands of strange creatures, solely because of the character pairing/shippy take on that relationship dynamic that i wrote about. root cave was especially charged with emotion and effort, ahaha. i know it's not everybody's thing, but ahaha, it just speaks to a very tender part of me, and though i was a little skittish about putting it on ao3, i am glad to be able to express my emotions through extremely pretentious prose

How do you choose your titles: i really really love thieving little lines from poems that i feel encapsulate at least some of the energy in that fic, or for the characters i'm writing about, or even maybe just the setting. ahaha i even have a list of small lines from poems. but sometimes i also use song titles, or just phrases in general, maybe even one or two thematic and/ or evocative words to set a mood before the story even begins!!

Do you outline: i? hmm. i'm not sure whether you could call it outlining, but i often split a fic i am working on into sections and then puts lines of description or narration or dialogue to act as markers for what i want the scene to be like when it's finished? but that's more to set a certain mood than to outline any sort of plot, especially because i so often dedicate myself to shortfics and ficlets and drabbles and snippets!! it is oneshots galore!!

Complete: 33 (oh my goodness that is a lot of, albeit short, oneshots)

In progress: on the archive? 3! in my deeply unorganised google drive folders?? a million hundred thousand, oh, i have a great many ideas and a stubborn pressing need to share them all

Coming soon: ohoho coming soon is Who knows?? not me, oh, gosh, not at all. who knows what i will haze through next? but if i am to have my way, coming soon will be a taka-gin infused glimpse of the atla au shoka sonjuku!! a next installment in the rather untidy gintama atla au that i have cooked up in my head!!!!!

Not started: not started???? i have so many ideas i haven't started ahaha

Prompts?: sometimes!! sometimes i like to write using word prompts. short little snippets are fun with those!

Upcoming work you’re most excited about: oh, i think. that would be the Yet Another Shoyo Contemplation but from the perspectives of takaginzura, and with like, bird metaphors?? or symbolism?? i have Not written this, but. i think. i think zura would think of shoyo as a hawk, or an eagle, perhaps. and takasugi,, hmm. for takasugi, shoyo would be a crane. and for gintoki, shoyo would be a sparrow. the small brown ones that fly over the rice fields? i think i should ramble about this somewhere else ahaha

Hmm, this is tough. I think the best way to answer this is by saying scenes with strong emotions? So I love it when characters air out what’s happened between them (like in Hide and Seek) and it really frustrates me when canon glosses over it.

Over all, it’s probably more realistic for them to get over it without talking about it (especially for the Batfam), but where’s the drama? The tension and release? The hurt and comfort? The conclusion? So that’s generally where my thoughts tend to go for fic writing especially!

As for fluffy stuff (which I know I haven’t posted so far, but I really do write some, I swear!) I am all for cuddles and movies and going to sleep to feel better.
